Mina Schütz, BSc., MSc. has been employed at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH since 2019, where she works as a scientist in the Center for Digital Safety & Security in the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence unit.

She is also doing her doctorate at the Doctoral Center for Applied Computer Science (PZAI) at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The focus of her research is in disinformation, hate speech and extremism detection in the area of natural language processing, information retrieval, information extraction, knowledge graphs and visual analytics. Furthermore, she teaches and supervises master theses at the UAS Technikum in Vienna in the study programs Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Data Science and Software Engineering since 2021.
