Prof. Dr. Jörn von Lucke holds the Chair of Public Administration and Information Systems at The Open Government Institute (TOGI) at the Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen.

His current research focuses on e-government, open government (open governance and and administrative action), open data, open social innovation, smart government (Internet of Things and Internet of Services in the public sector; Administration 4.0, Smart city), real-time government and AI in the public sector. At the same time, he represents the interests of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. in the context of the German activities of the Open Government Partnership.
